HOW TO BECOME THE EXPERT
When writing a SEO text, you need to take a few aspects into account. This being said, it is crucial not to write your text for Google itself, but for the visitor who shows interests in your content. Google also reads your content as a visitor and decides if your text is useful for the visitors. If so, you will be awarded a higher position.
1. KEYWORD RESEARCH
Get started by doing some form of research on keyword queries that would give context to your text. This means that you will choose one or two words to revolve your text around.
Example: “Retail Distribution”
It is important that your word(s) of choice “get along” with your website and topic that needs to be searched for.
(Our word of advice: Define and use one keyword(s) per text. It would be quite a pity to write a good text without any “search potential” in it).
2. KEYWORD RESEARCH = TITLE (H1)
Once you’ve chosen the right keyword it is all about making it clear to Google about the plot of your text. You can make it easier for Google by using your keyword as the title of your text. The title is encrypted as H1 code in mark-up language (this should be seen in the code of your website).
3. ALL YOU NEED IS 300 WORDS
Write a text of 300 words in total length. This part is examined by two sides. Google needs a certain amount of words in order to understand the text. This amount of words is also good because you certainly do not wish your visitors to get turned off by a lengthy text.
4. 2-3 SECONDARY TITLES (H2 heading)
Always use 2-3 secondary titles in your text and make sure that your keyword comes back in these titles. You could eventually use another variant of your keyword too. This gives additional clarity to Google about the core of your text. And above all, this breaks up your content so that visitors are more prone to finish reading what they started.
5. KEYWORD "WORD" (i.e. what the actual word is)
Make sure to use the keyword “word” at least 4 or 5 times at random positions in your text. This will definitely boost your search engine position.
